Booking Request

A booking request can be made online via the website, by email or over the phone. Once all details required have been submitted to APE we will check the availability of dates, times and DJ’s and provide you written quote based on the information supplied via email. Please ensure the information you have provide is accurate.


Quotes

Although it is APE's policy to provide you with a quote prior to making a booking APE is under no obligation to provide the client with a quote at anytime. Any quote issued by APE is and estimate or approximation only and may be changed, recalculated, amended, altered or withdrawn at anytime with or without notice to the client.


Booking Confirmation

Once a booking has been processed and approved by APE in order to confirm that booking the client will be required to pay a deposit (minimum 10% or $50 which ever is greater) within 7 days of receiving email notification that the booking has been approved. Deposits can be paid using the standard payment methods on offer at the time by APE. If a client fails to pay the deposit by the due date APE may at anytime with or without notification to the client withdraw it’s offer to provide service. In such cases APE will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the client as a direct result of APE's withdrawal of service.


Cancelling A Booking

- Providing Notification of Cancellation

Either the client or APE may cancel a confirmed booking by providing as much notification to the other party as possible. Notification should be provided over the phone and in writing.


- Cancellation by the Client More than 30 days to Event

If the client decides to cancel their booking for whatever reason more than 30 days out from the event date any deposit monies paid will be refunded in full to the client.


- Cancellation by the Client 30 or less days to Event

If the client has to cancel their booking for what ever reason 30 days out from or within 30 days of the event date any deposit monies paid by the client will NOT be refunded. In addition to the deposit monies paid by the client APE may recover additional costs or losses they have incurred as a result of the cancellation.


- Cancellation or Termination after the commencement of the Event

Once the event has commenced, if it is terminated for any reason the Client will still be liable to pay the full invoiced amount irrelevant of who the event was terminated by or when it was terminated.


- Cancellation by APE More than 30 days to Event

If extenuating circumstance mean that APE must cancel a confirmed booking more than 30 days out from the event date any deposit monies paid will be refunded in full and the client will receive and sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.


- Cancellation by APE 30 or less days to Event

If extenuating circumstance mean that APE must cancel a confirmed booking 30 days out from or within 30 days of the event date APE may pay an amount up to the original quoted amount for the confirmed booking to the client to find a replacement DJ for the event.  APE reserves its right to withdraw service at any time without providing any remedy to the client.
